Nadir Ciftci of Celtic FC has an uncertain future
Brendan Rodgers rates Craig Gordon very highly and this became very clear as the Northern Irish manager did not want to see Gordon leaving Celtic FC during the winter transfer window.
After everything was said and done, Gordon did not make a move to any other club despite being linked with the Premier League club Chelsea.
It’s a totally different story for the 24 year old Turkish footballer Nadir Ciftci as he cannot find a club. Ciftci signed for Celtic FC back on 2015 but he has not been able to make enough impressive performances to become a regular starter in the Scottish club.
Since joining Celtic FC on July of 2015, Nadir Ciftci has only managed to make 2 appearances under Brendan Rodgers and this is one of the main reasons of why Ciftci was offloaded to the Turkish outfitEskişehirspor on a season long loan deal which has reached it’s end.
Now that his time in Eskişehirspor is over, the Turkish player apparently will be making a return to Celtic FC but it’s extremely unlikely that he is going to be playing an important role with the club and Brendan Rodgers has even stated that if any club is interested in signing Nadir Ciftci then make an offer for him as the 24 year old player is not a key figure for Brendan Rodgers.
One of the clubs that appeared to be interested in signing Nadir Ciftci was the Scottish outfit Motherwell FC and it was even believed that they held talks and meetings with the 24 year old player but a transfer never came through and this is disastrous news for Ciftci as he will have to spend his time on the sidelines of Celtic FC for the next few months until the transfer windows opens up again and hopefully any club attempts to sign him.
