CELTIC EYEING ASTON VILLA STARLET

Scottish champions Celtic are reportedly keeping tabs on Aston Villa youngster Tyreik Wright. The winger has been impressive for English League Two team Walsallsince joining them last month. Apart from Celtic, Merseyside giants Everton are also monitoring his development at Aston Villa. Tyreik Wright, 19, is a left-footed winger with a lot of pace to burn. The interest of Celtic and Everton in his services was confirmed by the Daily Mail.He could leave Aston Villa on a free transfer as his contract ends in a few months’ time. Aston Villa would certainly want to give him a new contract to prevent the winger from walking away from the club for free.


Tyreik Wright was signed by Aston Villa from Irish club Lakewood and he has progressed well in the club's academy. He was loaned out to Walsall in January and he has started well in what's his first taste of senior team football. The Aston Villa loanee has set up goal in each of his first two appearances for Walsall and his quality has drawn praise from club manager Darrel Clarke.

The Walsall boss is grateful to Aston Villa for letting them have one of their most exciting players. Darrel Clarke is delighted to call upon the services of Tyreik Wright for the rest of this season. He also talked about how the young Aston Villa player has shown that his performances for the Republic of Ireland youth teams and the Aston Villa u-23s is no fluke.
Celtic are keen on signing Tyreik Wright but they have to contend with Premier League outfit Everton. The Toffees are also interested in the player, who will have a big decision to make on his long-term future in the coming months. He has to decide whether to leave Aston Villa or stay at the club.
