CELTIC PRODIGY – KARAMOKO DEMBELE

Celtic seem to have found a future superstar in 13-year old Karamoko Dembele.

The youngster came off the bench to get his debut in a Celtic Under 20 game, and there’s been so much fuss about the player ever since. Celtic already have a fan favourite in Moussa Dembele. Dembele is attracting interests from top clubs due to his amazing talent. He has 12 goals already for the Scottish super weight since his move from Fulham. Many believe Karamoko is as talented, hence the craze.

Rodgers in line for a deserved double

Despite his excellent achievements at Liverpool where he came so agonisingly close to winning the club’s first ever Premier League title, Brendan Rodgers’ managerial career has lacked any silverware. His most notable triumph to date was winning the Championship play-off final with Swansea City in 2011, an achievement that helped him attain the much coveted job on Merseyside.

Although he was named LMA Manager of the Year for the 2013-14 season, the Reds sacked him due to his lack of tangible awards. Now with Celtic it looks as though the 43-year-old’s hard work is finally about to pay off, as the Scottish champions are well on track for a league and cup double.

CELTIC FACE DIFFICULT TASK IN UCL

Scottish champions Celtic have a difficult task ahead after being drawn in the Champions League in a “group of death.”

Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos was the one who opened the seal that revealed that Celtic would face Spanish giant Barcelona, English side Manchester City – the two favourites to go through to the next stage – and German side Borussia Monchengladbach.

Celtic: the season so far

The Brendan Rodgers era is well and truly underway – and Celtic are benefiting from his prowess and tactical astuteness in attack. The Bhoys have scored 15 goals in the first four games of the season, including five in their recent derby day victory over Rangers; a result that sent shockwaves across the Scottish Premiership.

Without doubt, Celtic are the best team in Scotland’s top flight and it would take a brave man to back against Rodgers’ side this year.

BOSS TRIES TO CONVINCE TWO STARS TO STAY

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is trying to convince two of the club’s top stars to remain at the club despite their reluctance.

The players Tom Rogic and Stefan Johansen have their contracts in the final year but they have not yet agreed to a new deal that will tie them to the club.

Rodgers: No Major Changes

Celtic have won the Scottish League Championship for 5 consecutive years and are the undisputed best team of Scotland, and yet there has been a recent switch of managers as Ronny Deila left his coaching position and was replaced by Brendan Rodgers.

Celtic appear to have lost their way in the Scottish Premiership

Celtic appear to have lost their way in the Scottish Premiership after managing only two wins in the last five games.

This poor form has allowed Aberdeen, who are seen as their closest rivals in the league, have closed the advantage to just one point. Admittedly, they have played a game more than the table leaders. Still, they are too close to comfort for Celtic, who were expected to walk to the title. The absence of Rangers has really taken the sting out of the title race, as there have been few real challengers for Celtic in the last few years.

Celtic may lead the Scottish Premier league

Celtic may lead the Scottish Premier league and be on course for yet another league title, but their troubles in Europe under manager Ronny Deila continues following a defeat against Molde.

After their failure to reach the Champions League group stages once again under the Norwegian, Celtic were hoping to impress at least in the Europa league. It looks like they will fail to reach the knockout stages even in this competition after taking only two points from the opening three games. Celtic will need a huge miracle in order to come back from this position.

DELIA IS READY

Ronny Delia has done quite a lot of business of late, but, he is probably not convinced that he has got all his bases covered as far as his Celtic squad is concerned and he has hinted that he would be quite busy in the market again when the window reopens at the start of next year.

Deila secured the services of as many as eight players during the summer transfer window.

CELTIC READY FOR EUROPE

Celtic boss Ronny Deila has branded the club’s upcoming game with Inter Milan as the biggest of the season so far.

The Scottish club will be taking on the Italian outfit, who won the Champions League only in 2010, in the Europa League knockout stages.

After having failed to reach the Champions League only narrowly, Deila will be aware that he will be judged upon his success in European competitions and not on the league.
